Data protection

The National Statistics Institute (INE) is the institution responsible for the data file generated with the personal data supplied by users at the Electronic Headquarters www.sede.ine.gob.es.

Pursuant to Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on Personal Data Protection , the INE undertakes to fulfil its commitment to secrecy regarding data of a personal nature, and to its duty to treat it as confidential. For these purposes, it will adopt the necessary measures in order to avoid its alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access.

The purpose of the collection and processing of personal data is management, carrying out and improvement of INE Electron Headquarters services requested at a given moment by the users, and the tracking of enquiries made by these.

EThe user may at all times exercise his or her rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition, with regard to data supplied for any procedure or service made available at this Headquarters. Therefore, it must be addressed by any means by which its sending and receipt is confirmed, to the General Secretariat of the INE at the address Paseo de la Castellana, 183 MADRID (Spain). This may also be done via the  Email form .
