    • What certificates is it possible to apply for?

It is possible to request the telematic issue of certificates with the variation of the National General Index by CPI system base 2006, between two periods after March 1954, and the National Index variation of the Rental Housing heading, between two periods after January 1993.

      Who may request this?

Any individual or entity may apply for a certificate to be issued. In order to be able to pay the corresponding fee telematically, the following requirements must be met:

      • Be in possession of a Fiscal Identification Number (NIF).
      • Be in possession of an electronic certificate published in the electronic headquarters of the INE.
      • Having an existing account in a financial entity whose transactions are adapted to the Resolution dated 3 June 2009 allowing payments with power of attorney in the account of the obligor via the payment gateway of the Spanish Tax Agency.
How much does a certificate cost?

Certificates are regarded as fees, and their cost is regulated by Decree 505/1960 of 17 March and Law 25/1998 of 13 July. The cost of a certificate with one item of data is 1.51 euros and each additional item of data costs 0.27 euros.

How to apply for a certificate?

Please go to the form and complete the start and end dates for the period you would like to certify CPI variation. It is possible to apply for certification of different periods on a single document.

Once the data to be certified has been selected, a form will be submitted for payment of the corresponding fee.
