The National Statistics Institute (INE) is responsible for the processing of personal data that is carried out in the development of its activity, unless otherwise indicated in a specific processing, provided by users in the E-Office: https://sede.ine.gob.es.

In all such processing, the INE acts in accordance with current legislation on personal data protection, information security and specific regulations governing its activity. In particular, the processing of personal data through this website is based on the provisions of Article 6.1 c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation applicable to the data controller, and Article 6.1 e) of the GDPR, as it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of public powers vested in the INE.

The INE undertakes to comply with its obligation of secrecy with respect to personal data and the duty to treat them confidentially. To this end, it adopts the necessary technical and organisational measures to prevent their alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access.

The purpose of the collection and processing of personal data is the management, provision and improvement of the services of the INE E-Office requested by the user, as well as the monitoring of the queries made through the different forms available.

Users may at any time exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, limitation of processing, opposition and portability with respect to the data supplied for any of the procedures and services provided at this site.

The INE has a Data Protection Officer (DPO), in compliance with the provisions of Article 37 of the GDPR, whose function is to handle queries from citizens and requests relating to the exercise of the rights recognised by the GDPR with respect to the processing carried out by the INE.
