Purpose
The purpose of this resolution is to call for the awarding, on a competitive basis, of subsidies for carrying out scientific research, development and technological innovation projects within the scope of the National Statistics Institute, with the final objective of improving the official statistical function.
Budgetary appropriation and amount of the subsidyThis year's call is made and resolved in 2021. The available budget is €1,000,000 from the budget application 27.101.923C.780 of the INE expense budget. The individualized amount of each award will be determined according to one or more of the criteria detailed in this call.
BeneficiariesResearch and knowledge dissemination organisations may be beneficiaries of the aid, understanding as such any entity whose main objective is to independently carry out fundamental research, industrial research or experimental development or widely disseminate the results of these activities through teaching and the publication or transfer of knowledge. These organisations must have their own legal personality, be validly constituted and have tax residence or a permanent establishment in Spain.
Formalisation, deadline and submission of applicationsApplications must be made on the official form attached as Annex II to this resolution, within fifteen working days from the day following publication of the "extract" of the call for applications in the "Boletín Oficial del Estado" (Official State Gazette).
Types of eligible projectsProjects eligible for this aid scheme must be research projects aimed at acquiring new scientific and technological knowledge in the priority lines of research established in this call for proposals. They may be unidisciplinary or multidisciplinary, individual or coordinated.
Submission of documentation after publication of the provisional decision on beneficiary entitiesIn accordance with section eleven of the call for proposals, the beneficiary organisations listed in Annex I of the provisional decision proposal must submit the following complementary documentation, electronically signed by the legal representative of the organisation.
- Acceptance of the grant.
- Responsible declaration of compliance with the requirements demanded of the beneficiary.
- Notification form of the bank account for the payment of the aid.
In order to process the registration of a third party, they are required to provide a copy of the entity's NIF card together with the form completed and stamped by the bank.
The deadline for the presentation of documentation ends on 8 June 2022.
